Management Accountant (12 month FTC)

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (hybrid working)

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role will deliver accurate financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Deliver financial reporting and insights to senior stakeholders
• Monitor financial performance and identify trends and risks
• Assist with year‑end processes and audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Business partner across departments to support decision‑making
• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
• Experience working with budgets, forecasts and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
• Experience using finance systems and Excel for analysis and reporting

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator, able to work with non‑finance stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
