Hybrid Role with 3 days onsite in Cheltenham

Salary £30-£35k (subject to skills & experience) plus a fantastic benefits package including annual bonus and access to our flexible benefits platform.

Opportunity.

Reporting to the Snr Finance Controller GPI, you’ll partner closely with leaders across the Transformative Innovation Team and Program Management – turning financial data into clear insights that shape decisions. You’ll co‑ordinate the monthly forecast cycle and support the annual planning process, while proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks across your portfolio that may cause variances to plan. You’ll also coordinate and track key GPI metrics, investigating variances to plan and confidently translate your findings into monthly presentations and leadership updates.

As a key contributor to month‑end close, you’ll collaborate globally with the ITC team and finance/business partners across the US, China and India, and deliver ad hoc analysis that enables timely, data‑driven decisions. Success in this role comes from building strong relationships across functions and regions and thriving in a matrix environment. You’ll work in line with Kohler Co. policies and processes, bringing a high standard of integrity, ethics and candour when partnering with stakeholders at all levels.

Given the global scope of the position, some flexibility in working hours may be needed to support multi time‑zone collaboration.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate, timely month‑end reporting and insight, clearly explaining results and outlook versus Financial Plan and Forecast (including key risks and opportunities).
  • Prepare and present monthly performance updates to leadership highlighting drivers, actions and decisions needed.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end Financial Plan and Forecast process for your areas, ensuring assumptions are robust, aligned and well‑documented.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to answer business questions quickly and support data‑driven choices.
  • Own the coordination and quality of key GPI financial reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, on time, and clearly tell the story behind performance, including monthly GPI scorecards with clear commentary on variances and key drivers.
  • Produce Executive and leadership packs (GPI Exec Packs, KLT Financial Pack and Financial Plan Pack) to support decision‑making at senior levels.
  • Support GPI global consolidation of reporting, including the maintenance of cost‑centre roll‑ups.
  • Serve as GPI’s BPC Super user, ensuring the business has a smooth, compliant and efficient planning/forecasting process.
  • Own BPC loads for GPI, including the annual Financial Plan and in‑year forecasts, ensuring timelines, data quality and governance are met.
  • Train and upskill finance colleagues, sharing tips and best practices to improve consistency and confidence in BPC.
  • Own month‑end commentary for your areas, supporting GPI and K&B Group consolidation by partnering with regional teams to explain performance versus plan and prior year.
  • Share knowledge and help strengthen the Finance team by driving best‑practice reporting, analysis, decision support and business partnering.
  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism and promote the same expectations within the wider team.
  • Support additional projects and special studies as assigned by the Snr Finance Controller GPI.
Skills / Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Adaptability.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • BPC / SAP experience essential.
  • AAT level 4 or studying CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
