Junior Management Accountant

Junior Management Accountant | £28 ,000 - £32 ,000 pa plus full study support | Hybrid | Derby | Permanent A newly created role in a fast-growing and forward-thinking finance team, supporting a strategic finance transformation within a successful and expanding group. The business is ambitious, growing fast and aiming for FTSE 250 status. You will work closely with the Group Management Accountant and a highly regarded Financial Controller.

The role offers excellent exposure to group-level reporting, budgeting, and acquisitions. The finance team is shifting from business as usual to a commercially focused, insight-driven function. You will be involved in:
Month-end and management accounts completion and reporting Budgeting, balance sheet recs, cash flow forecasting, pre-payments and accruals, and variance analysis Group financial reporting across multiple businesses Supporting audits and acquisition activity Process improvement and reporting enhancements What we are looking for:
Part-qualified or studying CIMA or ACCA (or ready to start) Strong foundations in finance (AAT, finance degree or similar) Detail-focused, analytical, inquisitive and proactive Comfortable presenting financial information and improving processes Interest in audit, compliance or group finance is a plus You will receive full study support, hybrid working (two days from home), and genuine progression in a team set to grow to 20 people.
