Management Accountant

• Prepare monthly management accounts for designated group entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Conduct detailed reconciliations of profit and loss and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Complete and submit VAT returns, including partial exemption calculations where required.
• Maintain and strengthen financial control processes across the business.
• Support acquisition activities through financial due diligence analysis and integration planning.
• Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts, proactively identifying and reporting potential risks.
• Support the year-end audit process, including preparation of audit packs and liaison with auditors.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process through financial analysis and reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior leadership as required.
• Assist with finance projects, process improvements, and other ad-hoc duties as required.

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
• Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders and auditors
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong planning and time management capabilities
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates expertise in financial management, including preparation of management accounts, detailed reconciliations, and financial reporting. Proficient in VAT returns, cash flow forecasting, and supporting audits while maintaining strong financial controls.
