About the role

Home Caring Pty Ltd is seeking a casual Support Worker to join their team at Home Caring Vermont, in Victoria. This rewarding role will involve providing compassionate and personalised care to elderly and disabled clients in their own homes. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital part in enabling our clients to live independently and with dignity.

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and social support to combat isolation and promote well‑being
• Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
• Reporting any changes in client condition or needs to the care team
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• At least 6 months of experience in a caregiving or support worker role
• A genuine passion for working with elderly and disabled individuals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
• A Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care or equivalent qualification
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• A current NDIS/Aged Care workers screening check
