You will be leading and managing full clinical and operational teams, ensuring excellent care is delivered and maintained, and ensuring quality and financial targets are met. As the Hospital Director at The Avalon Centre, you will be the Registered Manager and have overall leadership and management responsibility of the service. Lead the neurological multidisciplinary team, and be responsible for operational performance whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.
Main duties of the jobThe Hospital Director role at The Avalon Centre offers an opportunity for experienced leaders in the healthcare sector, particularly those with a neurological care background, to lead high-performing teams and develop new services within an established neurological hospital. Located in Swindon, The Avalon Centre is positioned conveniently with excellent access to transport links and caters specifically for adults with acquired brain injury.
The Hospital Director will oversee both clinical and operational management, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of exceptional care standards. Responsibilities include leading the neurological multidisciplinary team, meeting quality and financial targets, and developing commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a robust management track record in healthcare, with an emphasis on performance, delivery, and governance.
