What You’ll Do

The Head of Digital Delivery is a key member of the Agency Operations Team, overseeing the execution of brand and website projects, as well as any necessary retained client projects. They will play a crucial role in optimising production workflows, ensuring seamless delivery, and maintaining high-quality output. With full autonomy, they will act as the primary feedback loop for continuous improvements in production processes, driving efficiency and innovation.

This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (designers, developers, copywriters, strategists), and a deep understanding of digital production, including website development, UX/UI design, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Oversee the end-to-end internal production of all projects managing production schedules (sprints), ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and briefs.
  • Allocate resources efficiently across design, development, and content teams.
  • Monitor project milestones, resolving bottlenecks and mitigating risks proactively.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between designers, developers, content teams, and senior leaders to ensure efficiency KPIs are met.
  • Maintain quality control over all projects, ensuring consistency and that websites are optimised for performance, conversion and accessibility.
  • Maintain and create any necessary process documentation to aid the efficiency and management of production teams working closely with any department heads.
  • Report monthly on overall project profitability and efficiencies ensuring that total time taken to deliver, hits or comes in under allocated hours.
  • Work with the Development Technical team to ensure all launched websites achieve ‘Good’ Google Page Speed scores on desktop and mobile.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Act as the main point of contact between internal teams.
  • Ensure clear communication on project progress, challenges, and delivery expectations.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and tech teams to align production with overarching business strategic goals, bringing proposed solutions to any problems that arise.
  • Support Director of Services with systems review and create comparison specs and gap analysis to fully scope out the potential for moving to a different project / retainer management system.
Quality Control & Compliance
  • Ensure all projects meet brief, usability standards, and legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, accessibility compliance).
  • Conduct final checks on websites before deployment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure 100% of web projects go through a structured QA process before launch.

  • Experience:

    5+ years in web production, project management, and agency operations.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Understanding of web design, front-end development, CMS platforms (e.g., Word Press, Webflow).
  • Project Management Tools:
