We are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our Group IT team and play a key role in supporting global hardware, software, and licensing procurement activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative team where your ideas are valued, your development is encouraged, and you can help shape and improve processes as we continue to grow. You'll work with colleagues and vendors across multiple regions, gaining exposure to a broad range of technologies and business functions.

What You'll Be Doing

As Purchasing Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring IT purchasing requests are processed efficiently and accurately, helping colleagues across the business receive the hardware, software, and licensing they need to perform at their best.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of IT procurement and software asset management processes.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for purchasing and licensing enquiries across the Group IT function.
  • Managing global IT purchasing and software licensing requests.
  • Ensuring purchase orders, supplier communications, and cost information are accurate and compliant.
  • Monitoring and maintaining software licensing activities, including identifying and managing inactive licensed accounts.
  • Providing guidance and support to internal customers, Service Desk teams, and technical colleagues.
  • Building strong relationships with third-party vendors to ensure high levels of service and delivery.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the customer experience.
What We're Looking For

We're interested in people who are eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a growing team. You may already have experience in IT purchasing, administration, procurement, licensing, or service support and be looking for your next challenge.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • An understanding of IT hardware, software, and services, including Microsoft licensing and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A track record of supporting, improving, or maintaining business processes.
  • Experience providing support within a geographically dispersed or global organisation.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
What Will Make You Successful

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused approach.
  • Are proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Take pride in accuracy and maintaining high standards.
  • Enjoy solving problems and finding better ways of working.
  • Are confident challenging existing processes constructively and contributing new ideas.
  • Demonstrate our core company values in everything you do.
  • Are excited by the opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career within an expanding IT team.
Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a growing and supportive Group IT team.
  • Gain exposure to global IT procurement and licensing activities.
  • Work with a variety of technologies, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements and business transformation initiatives.
  • Develop your skills and create opportunities for future career progression.
  • This role would suit someone looking for more than just an administration position; it's an opportunity to become a valued member of a growing team and make a real impact on how IT services are delivered across the business.
