DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you willbe responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-native and on-premises infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation solutions.

Due to the nature of our work, candidates must hold a valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance at the time of application to be considered for this role.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Configure, manage, and optimise Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Automate deployment and operational processes.
• Support containerised application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes.
• Ensure security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Produce and maintain operational documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven commercial experience (3+ years) in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of networking and security principles.
• Strong Git knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Occasional UK travel may be required to attend team or customer meetings, events, and training activities.
• Maintain professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training activities, including mandatory training.
• Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, commensurate with the level of skill and competence of this post, to assist with the smooth running of the business.
• Understand, comply with, and ensure adherence to organisational standards, particularly those related to security, privacy, and ethics.

• Base salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
