About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or early-career compliance professional looking to develop their skills in a regulatory environment. Reporting to the Compliance Officer, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the compliance team and help ensure the firm meets its regulatory obligations with precision and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks
• Investigate and escalate adverse AML results as appropriate
• Monitor internal policies and regulatory compliance procedures
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready compliance records
• Conduct compliance reviews and compile detailed reports
• Assist with compliance and risk-related projects
• Help maintain firm registration portals (e.g. HMCTS, Land Registry, Lender Panels)
• Support any other compliance-related duties as required

Required:

• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Confident communicator across all levels of the business
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A team player with initiative and a proactive approach
• High standards of professionalism and discretion

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous experience in legal compliance or a similar role
• Law graduate or familiarity with SRA regulatory rules
