RESPONSIBILITIES

* The role involves managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters with minimal supervision, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.

* You will draft, negotiate, and complete commercial leases and related documentation, and advise landlords and tenants on issues such as rent reviews, break clauses, and dilapidation's.

* You will carry out property due diligence, report on title and risk, and provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients.

* Regular liaison with agents, lenders, surveyors, and other advisers will form a key part of the role, alongside ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.

* You may also support junior team members and contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.

REQUIRED

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with ideally 5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial property. Less PQE will be considered if you have at least 5 years fee earning experience in commercial property.

* Strong technical knowledge of UK commercial property law

* Experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions independently

* Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities

* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

* Commercially minded with a client-focused approach

* High level of organisation, attention to detail, and professionalism
