RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters with minimal supervision, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
You will draft, negotiate, and complete commercial leases and related documentation, and advise landlords and tenants on issues such as rent reviews, break clauses, and dilapidation's.
You will carry out property due diligence, report on title and risk, and provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients.
Regular liaison with agents, lenders, surveyors, and other advisers will form a key part of the role, alongside ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.
You may also support junior team members and contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with ideally 5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial property. Less PQE will be considered if you have at least 5 years fee earning experience in commercial property.
Strong technical knowledge of UK commercial property law
Experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions independently
Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Commercially minded with a client-focused approach
High level of organisation, attention to detail, and professionalism
