Automotive Mechanic
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your hands-on experience and technical skill level)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (100% WEEKEND FREEDOM with strictly zero weekend shifts required!)

Role OverviewSeeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Technician to join our highly respected independent dealership and service centre team in Cheltenham. You will carry out routine servicing, general mechanical repairs, systematic diagnostic fault-finding using modern equipment, and maintain service procedures across customer vehicles to high industry standards.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with a proven track record in a professional workshop setting
- Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine servicing, and general mechanical repair
- Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Base: Cheltenham (Free secure on-site staff parking)
- Road Links: Strategic position directly served by key arterial routes including the M5 (J10/J11), A40, and A435 corridors, offering fast daily commutes across Gloucestershire
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Cheltenham Spa mainline railway station alongside regular regional bus routes
