Key Responsibilities- Assume accountability for the profit and loss of assigned customers, including setting annual budgets and long‑term strategic plans.
- Drive growth of customer accounts and manage bid processes for major bids and pricing initiatives.
- Ensure the performance of all customer deliverables, implementing timely preventative and corrective actions across business functions.
- Generate and maintain key performance metrics for the business in scope.
- Aim to secure customer awards for performance and support.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills and evaluative judgment based on factual and qualitative analysis of complex situations.
- Provide leadership at all organisational levels through effective verbal and written communication.
- Collaborate with other Value stream project managers to meet all departmental deliverables.
- Communicate and embody the company vision and values.
- Drive continuous improvement and align organisational processes to create a team‑focused, collaborative environment.
- Ensure adherence to all Ultra programme management policies.
- Demonstrated programme management experience with customers.
- Experience working in the aerospace and defence sector.
- Domestic and international travel required.
- Strong communication skills to enhance management effectiveness with superiors and subordinates.
- Delegation skills to identify and assign tasks effectively.
- Time‑management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Decision‑making skills to evaluate options and determine optimal actions.
- Problem‑solving skills to analyse performance and recommend productivity improvements.
- Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
- Background in manufacturing methods, process improvement programmes and procedures.
- Competency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Flexible working within core working hours.
- 25 days holiday (185 hrs) with the option to buy/sell 5 days (37 hrs) plus bank holidays.
