Job Summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our SIPP team. The SIPP team continually delivers new product features and service improvements by adapting our internal processes and developing our IT platforms. This role will be responsible for running multiple SIPP‑specific development projects, which will be mostly client facing. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is based in our Cheltenham office working on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of assigned projects or work streams within the SIPP platform programme.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Identify potential material changes to projects and manage these through a controlled change‑management process.
- Engage and coordinate with stakeholders across technology, operations, and business teams.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within complex programmes.
- Strong understanding of PMO processes and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Proven leadership skills, able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues and clients and inspire individuals and teams to deliver high‑quality solutions and outcomes in a high‑pressure environment.
- Experience in financial services or pensions industry (SIPP experience highly desirable).
