The Role

As Delivery Manager youll report into a Portfolio Manager and take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects and work streams within a platforms team. Youll plan mobilise manage and control delivery in line with client expectations contractual obligations and quality standards leading project teams coordinating stakeholders and keeping delivery on track from mobilisation through to completion.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on managing competing priorities evaluating risk and driving corrective action to protect delivery performance while also mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues.

What Youll Be Doing

• Plan manage and deliver assigned projects/work streams against agreed scope schedule cost quality and governance requirements
• Coordinate project teams and resources ensuring roles priorities and dependencies are clearly understood
• Monitor progress manage risks/issues/dependencies/change control and take corrective action to protect delivery
• Own project reporting documentation forecasts dashboards and governance packs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers suppliers subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Lead project meetings reviews and governance forums capturing and progressing actions and escalations
• Ensure delivery activity complies with organisational standards and ways of working
• Support mobilisation and continuous improvement sharing delivery expertise and lessons learned
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to project teams and junior staff

What Were Looking For

Essential:

• Solid working knowledge of project management principles governance lifecycle models planning budgeting risk/issue management change control reporting and quality
• Proven experience leading infrastructure and/or platform deliveries with accountability for time cost scope and quality
• Strong planning organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Confident written and verbal communicator able to tailor messaging across audiences
• Highly competent in Microsoft Office JIRA and Confluence
• Experience working within a governed quality-driven or highly technical delivery environment

Desirable:

• Practitioner-level qualification: APM PMQ PRINCE2 Practitioner AgilePM Practitioner or equivalent
• Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. APM) or evidence of ongoing CPD in project delivery
