Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, is recruiting for a Production Cell Manager to join our Operations Production based at our Bishops Cleeve site. As a member of the Production Management Team you’ll be responsible for the planning, organisation and direction of the manufacturing cell teams to ensure business objectives, production and customer service targets are met.

• Lead a small team and work alongside other Cell Managers.
• Plan and schedule work, ensuring KPIs and performance metrics are monitored, managed and achieved.
• Take ownership for achieving results, regularly reporting and reviewing performance against targets.
• Maintain and monitor business efficiency, identifying and resolving problems effectively through RCCA while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

• Demonstrable experience of leading and developing a team within a fast-moving lean manufacturing/engineering environment, ideally aerospace.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
• Experienced using ERP and business IT systems to produce quality performance information and reports.
• Confident, strong communicator, able to work in a changing and demanding role while interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
