Salary: £31,000 to £35,800

Hours:

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday) and every other Friday off

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client. They are a successful engineering company offering a stable and lucrative career in their purpose-built manufacturing facility. They require Mechanical Fitters to join their growing team.

The appropriate mechanical fitter would be responsible for:

• Bespoke build of automation machinery, following technical engineering drawings
• Assembling parts made from metals or other materials to create production equipment and machinery
• Building assemblies and sub-assemblies
• Build of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Previous mechanical engineering experience and competence in mechanical fitting, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
• A good understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics
• A desire to be part of a highly motivated team
• Hard working
• The knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting from a production or engineering background and the ability to interpret basic drawings is required
