We are currently recruiting a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for our client, a large automotive accident repair group with multiple centres across England. This Vehicle Paint Sprayer position is based in Cheltenham and involves producing high-quality refinishing work in a busy repair environment.

Starting salary up to £54,600 per annum (£21 per hour), increasing on completion of 6 months’ probation

Duties of the Paint Sprayer:

Paint vehicles to a high standard, ensuring timely completion
Use paint processes and techniques to achieve consistent, professional results
Complete preparation work including priming and masking
Apply RPE and PPE correctly at the required times
Accurately match painted panels to the vehicle’s original colour
Apply the correct amount of paint for optimal finish quality
Inspect finished paint jobs and polish as required
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support quality and efficiency
Work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment

Requirements of the Paint Sprayer:

Fully qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or strong time-served experience
Experience working to a demanding throughput in an accident repair environment
Strong knowledge of preparation and refinishing procedures
UK driving licence with minimal points
High-quality workmanship and motivation to meet team targets
ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
Reliable attendance and commitment to safe working practices
