£42,162.63 per annum, plus Pension, Life Assurance, Recommend a Friend Bonus Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Performance Awards, Long Service Awards and opportunities for training and development.
We are delighted to be looking for an additional Production Manager to manage, develop and lead the site production team in the delivery of an effective and efficient commercial laundry operation in line with business requirements. This role offers a great opportunity for someone who wants the freedom to influence, and to make a real difference.
This role is offered on a full time permanent basis. You will be required to work Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern. The shifts are 6.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. Extra hours may be required during the summer period.
Responsibilities- Leading, developing, and motivating the site production team, and ensuring a positive and engaged workforce, including ensuring training has been completed and conducting regular performance reviews;
- Maximising the service, cost, and quality performance of the site operations, by continually reviewing performance, and exploring opportunities to improve;
- Introducing and delivering productivity improvements, promoting increased efficiencies, service, and quality performance, in line with KPI and budgetary requirements;
- Maintaining standards, including quality, health and safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
Whilst this is not a hands on production role, you will not be afraid to "get your hands dirty".
Qualifications- Production, manufacturing, or logistics experience in a fast-moving, shift-based environment; FMCG; a laundry background would be amazing!
- Knowledge of change management and lean continuous improvement tools and techniques;
- A minimum of 2 years of Line management experience and the ability to motivate others;
- Excellent communication skills in English (our business language);
- Previous experience of supervising a team and how to motivate them;
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural team;
- IT literacy;
- A supervisory qualification is desirable but not essential, as successful candidates will be required to complete training provided as part of the role;
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK;
- Hold a bank account in your name or as part of a joint account.
