Ontic, a Leading Licensor And Manufacturer Of Complex Engineering Parts For The Global Aerospace And Defence Industries, Are Now Recruiting For Electronic Assembly & Test Technicians to join our Operations team where you'll support us in assembling and testing cutting-edge aerospace products that are trusted by customers around the world. This role will be based at our Bishop Cleeve site in Cheltenham.

As a skilled technician this is a great opportunity to join our growing Operations Team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you'll play an essential role in the assembly, inspection and testing of advanced electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring every product meets the highest aerospace quality standards before delivery.
You will be assembling electronic products and sub-assemblies using engineering drawings, build manuals and controlled procedures. Building and inspecting complex Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). Conducting environmental and final product testing using approved test procedures. Working with ERP/MRP systems to accurately record production activities, whilst ensuring products meet stringent aerospace quality requirements. You will also be following safe working practices while contributing to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
As a dedicated team you will be working collaboratively to achieve production targets and customer delivery commitments.
To be successful in this role you'll need to have the following skills and experience.
- Experience with in an electronics or mechanical manufacturing environment with the ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions and technical documentation.
- Excellent manual dexterity and exceptional attention to detail.
- Good computer skills and experience using manufacturing systems coupled with a proactive attitude and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Experience working within a Part 21G and/or Certificate of Conformity (CofC) environment.
- Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship.
- Antenna assembly or testing experience.
- Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge.
- Experience working to aerospace quality standards.
- Up to 29 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
