An innovative electronics manufacturing business specialising in Measurement While Drilling (MWD) technology is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join its growing team in Cheltenham.
Supporting the oil, gas, and mining sectors, the company designs and manufactures cutting-edge electronic systems used across global operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong electro-mechanical manufacturing background who thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities for this Electro-Mechanical Assembler job based in Cheltenham:- Build power amplifiers in line with detailed manufacturing documentation.
- Assemble sub-assemblies from technical drawings and build instructions.
- Build and integrate complete systems to specification.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy while working to production schedules and meeting daily and weekly targets.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
Due to the nature of the work, applicants must hold a British Passport.
Key desirables for this Electro-Mechanical Assembler job based in Cheltenham:- Previous experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
- Proven soldering experience to IPC-A-610 standards.
- Knowledge of PCB assembly, manufacturing, and rework techniques.
- Good computer literacy.
- Current IPC-A-610 Certification.
- Experience working with complex electronic assemblies.
- Week 1:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm - Week 2:
Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00am to 4:00pm - Weekend pay is included within the package.
