Production Support Operative - Cheltenham

£15.99 per hour | Monday to Friday | 9am-5pm | No Weekend Shifts

Long-Term Temporary Opportunity - 12 Months Ongoing

Looking for a well-paid, hands-on job with regular hours, variety and long-term opportunities?

We're looking for a Production Support & FLT Driver to join a busy, growing manufacturing company in Cheltenham, offering a long-term opportunity with the potential to extend or become permanent.

This isn't your typical warehouse job!

You'll be working across different areas of the business, helping to keep production moving, making sure materials are where they need to be and supporting the team with everything from forklift duties to preparing packaging and stock.

If you're practical, hardworking and enjoy a job where you're kept busy and no two days are quite the same, this could be the perfect opportunity.

And the best part? You'll work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with your weekends free!

What's in it for you?
  • £15.99 per hour starting rate
  • Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
  • No rotating shifts or weekend working as part of your standard schedule
  • 12-month ongoing temporary contract with potential to extend or become permanent
  • Optional overtime opportunities to boost your earnings
  • Full training and ongoing support
  • Opportunities to develop new skills across warehouse and production operations
  • A varied role where you'll be involved in different areas of the business
  • Genuine opportunities for internal progression
  • A supportive team environment within an established manufacturing company
What will you be doing?
  • Operating forklifts to safely load and unload lorries and move stock around the site
  • Preparing packaging materials by cutting boxes to size and making them up ready for production
  • Keeping production supplied with the materials and packaging needed to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Supporting the cutting departments to help keep production running efficiently
  • Picking, packing and preparing orders ready for dispatch
  • Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
  • Carrying out stock checks and helping to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Replenishing materials and consumables across different departments
  • Preparing work areas to ensure supplies are ready for both day and night shifts
  • Keeping the workplace safe and organised while supporting colleagues wherever needed
What are we looking for?
  • Hold a valid FLT licence - highly desirable
  • Enjoy practical, hands-on work
  • Have a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Are happy to help out across different departments
  • Have good attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • Are comfortable with manual handling and working in a busy environment
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Take health and safety seriously
  • Have your own transport due to the location
  • Previous warehouse, forklift or production experience would be an advantage, but we're also interested in people with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

A varied role with long-term opportunities

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being active at work, likes variety and wants to develop their skills within a successful manufacturing business.

Rather than doing the same task all day, you'll have the chance to work across different areas of the operation, gain valuable experience and become an important part of the team.

With £15.99 per hour, regular Monday-to-Friday hours, optional overtime and the potential for a permanent position, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term future in manufacturing.

And with your evenings and weekends free, you'll enjoy a consistent routine and a great work-life balance.

Sound like your kind of job?

If you're hardworking, reliable and looking for a varied, hands-on role with great hours and long-term potential, we'd love to hear from you.
