This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and compassionate nurse to join the Oncology SACT Nurse Practitioner team and contribute to our shared vision of delivering consistently outstanding, patient‑centred care. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high‑quality treatment and support, ensuring the best possible experience and outcomes for patients throughout their cancer journey.

This post requires an enhanced level of clinical practice within a specialist role that demands in‑depth cancer knowledge, skills, and post‑registration training. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate expertise in areas such as cancer treatment administration, management of treatment‑related side effects, and site‑specific or pathway‑specific care.

This post will include a structured induction and a clear, personalised development programme through which the individual will complete the required education and develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for SACT assessment. This will be achieved through a period of supernumerary learning, teaching sessions, regular one‑to‑one meetings, constructive feedback, and mentorship from the wider team.

require a critical understanding of detailed theoretical and practical knowledge
