We are supporting a respected manufacturing organisation to appoint a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting effective Health, Safety and Environmental management systems, partnering with teams across the site to help drive positive improvements and maintain a strong safety culture.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to influence safety and environmental performance in a fast-paced setting.

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will:

Advise and support managers and employees on EHS management systems in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Conduct routine site audits and inspections, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Support risk assessments for workplace safety, COSHH, PUWER, manual handling, and DSE.
Organise and deliver targeted EHS Training, including inductions and behavioural safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrable knowledge of legal regulations related to manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical or related industry.
Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
Understanding of ISO standards, especially ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with colleagues across various functions.
