  • SUNDAY 06:30 - 10:30
  • TUESDAY 04:30-08:30
  • SATURDAY 04:30-08:30

This job role involves working early mornings and this means we can't consider applications from anyone under the age of 18. This is to comply with the relevant health and safety legislation and to keep our colleagues safe in the workplace.

Please note that the + £3.00 p/h unsocial premium is only added on any hours worked between 22:00-06:00.

Responsibilities
  • Join M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Food section and be at the frontline of the retailer.
  • Provide five-star service at pace and adapt to the transformation the business is driving.
  • Develop knowledge of M&S Food products and be ready to roll up your sleeves and respond to customer demand daily.
  • Act as a resilient and committed brand ambassador who confidently recommends and sells our newest food products.
  • Deliver remarkable service to ensure customers feel valued on every visit.
  • Work in a high-pressure environment, staying sharp, fast, and focused when the store is busiest.
  • Utilise digital tools such as Sparks and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience.
  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment and support colleagues in delivering a seamless customer experience.
  • Be flexible to work across various areas of the store and adapt to changing retail demands.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work early mornings and irregular shifts as specified in the work pattern.
  • Digital confidence and comfort using in-store technology and digital tools.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Team player mentality with the willingness to support colleagues across the store.
  • Adaptability to different areas of the store and varying shift patterns.
