Electrician

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician to join a leading organisation within the industrial and engineering sector. This role will deliver an outstanding service to customers while working within a supportive and collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will think on their feet and adapt to fast-paced, urgent projects brought in at short notice. You will work in a team of 2, with a colleague who has 15 years of experience.

They are happy to speak to you if you have at least 1 year of experience. The role covers Electrical Installation & Maintenance, working on Commercial Kitchens & Modular buildings, on both three-phase and single-phase circuits and supplies.

• Install, repair, and maintain temporary and modular units
• Use testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, code violations, and other electrical issues
• Perform general maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations
• Collaborate effectively across departments
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship completed
• Minimum 1 year as a qualified electrician
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Solid decision-making ability
• Good written and verbal communication skills

• An NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing

Salary: £34,000 + 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with tenure) + Lunch and Breakfast provided. Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, enhanced Maternity/Paternity Pay, sick pay and Pension scheme.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
