Job Description & How to Apply Below
This is an opportunity to play a key role in that journey-working on meaningful projects that improve operational efficiency while helping shape the future of automation across the organisation. Working alongside the Lead Blue Prism Developer, you'll design, develop and enhance Blue Prism solutions while contributing to the growth, maturity and technical direction of the wider RPA function. What You'll Be Doing Designing, developing and maintaining Blue Prism automations.
Working closely with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into effective solutions. Supporting solution design, testing, deployment and ongoing support. Developing scalable, resilient and supportable automations. Producing clear technical documentation and promoting development best practice. Working with the Lead Blue Prism Developer to improve delivery standards and automation capability. Identifying opportunities to optimise existing processes and maximise business value.
About You You'll be a collaborative developer who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering automation that makes a genuine difference. You'll ideally have:
Proven experience developing Blue Prism solutions within a commercial, enterprise or public sector environment. Experience delivering end-to-end Blue Prism automations, from requirements gathering through to deployment and support. A good understanding of Blue Prism best practice, solution design and development standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Experience working within regulated or security-conscious environments would be advantageous. Blue Prism certification would be welcomed but isn't essential. Why Join? This is a genuine opportunity to influence a growing automation capability rather than simply maintaining existing solutions. You'll benefit from:
Salary up to £60,000. Excellent public sector pension. Hybrid working with typically two days per week on site in Gloucestershire. The opportunity to work on varied and meaningful automation projects. A collaborative, supportive team environment. The chance to influence the future direction of an expanding RPA capability. A two-year fixed-term appointment with the potential to become permanent, subject to organisational requirements.
Security & Eligibility Because of the nature of this organisation's work, applicants must:
Be currently living in the UK. Have the unrestricted right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship. Be eligible to undergo enhanced background checks and security vetting. Previous security clearance isn't required. However, successful applicants will need to satisfy the organisation's vetting requirements before appointment. Interested? If you're looking for a role where your technical expertise will have real impact-and where you'll have the opportunity to help shape a growing automation capability-we'd love to hear from you.
