Overview of the Position

Assist department manager with handling immediate needs of the business. Provide general office administrative support and coordinate projects and events. Assist in helping the office run smoothly through effective organization and attention to detail. Responsible for handling administrative tasks by performing the following duties.

Hourly Wage Range

$19 – $24

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • General office support duties such as filing or retrieving paper documents or parts, form processing, maintaining office supplies and equipment, assisting with office documentation as needed.
  • Data entry and database maintenance as required.
  • Safeguard proprietary engineering information.
  • Follow department procedures.
  • Perform any other office duties as directed or may be assigned.

  • Must possess strong communication skills and be able to interact positively with co‑workers, other departments, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Minimum two years’ related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Frequently required to talk or listen.
  • Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Works in moderate noise levels.
  • Minimal travel required.
