Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations. Core responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing tax returns, and providing financial analysis. The role also involves collaborating with clients to deliver strategic insights, recommend tax-efficient strategies, and support business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards FRS
102 and FRS
105, compliance, and tax regulations
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing

- Experience with VAT, tax returns, and payroll processing
- Excellent English communication skills
- Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
