Job Description for Paid Assistant role in RRPM and Associates LLP, Chennai

Qualification:

CA Inter (Both Groups / One Group cleared) or CA Final Pursuing
(Articleship experience or prior experience in an auditor’s office is an added advantage)

Experience:

Articleship Experience & Audit firm exposure preferred (3 to 4 years of experience preferred)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in  statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits  under the guidance of seniors.
Handle  Income Tax return filings , computations, and related compliance work.
Support  GST compliances  including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliations.
Maintain and review  books of accounts  using Tally / other accounting software.
Prepare working papers, schedules, and audit documentation.
Assist in  TDS compliances , returns, and reconciliations.
Support  ROC and allied compliance work , if required.
Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarifications.
Ensure timely completion of assignments with accuracy and compliance.
Follow professional standards, confidentiality, and firm policies.

Skills and Competencies
Sound knowledge of  Accounting, Auditing, Income Tax, and GST
Working knowledge of  Tally and MS Excel

Good analytical , communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple assignments
