Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks will include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial operations. The Accountant will also provide financial insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting software, bookkeeping, and preparing financial statements
Strong skills in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis
Attention to detail, accuracy in financial data management, and knowledge of tax compliance
Ability to conduct audits, perform reconciliations, and analyze financial data
Strong organizational and communication skills
Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Previous experience in financial management is an advantage
