Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting month-end and year-end close processes. Additionally, the Accountant will support budgeting and forecasting activities and assist with audits and tax filings.

Qualifications
Proficiency in maintaining and reconciling financial records
Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
Skills in managing accounts payable and receivable
Ability to conduct month-end and year-end close processes
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Assisting with audits and tax filings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in accounting software.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus
