Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Article Trainee at Venkatesh & Co, located in Chennai. The Article Trainee will assist in auditing, accounting, taxation, and compliance tasks. The trainee will gain exposure to industries and develop practical skills, working closely with senior professionals. The role involves performing detailed research, preparing reports, and supporting client deliverables while adhering to professional standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Accounting and Financial Reporting
Understanding of Auditing Principles and Techniques
Knowledge of Taxation, especially Direct and Indirect Tax laws
Proficiency in MS Office software and relevant Accounting tools
Well-developed analytical, time-management, and organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Eligibility for articleship under ICAI guidelines
Pursuing Chartered Accountancy or completion of CA Foundation is preferred
