Role Description  This is a full-time, remote Accountant role responsible for managing day-to-day financial and accounting activities for Surya Roshni. The Accountant will handle general ledger postings, journal entries, reconciliations, and the maintenance of accurate financial records. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The role will also involve preparing financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal policies, and tax regulations.

The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond to internal and external audit requests, and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, taxation basics, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing or industrial businesses.
Ability to analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with finance and non-finance team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or large corporate environment is preferred, along with familiarity with internal controls and audit processes
