Diabetologist Physician

Qualification MBBS with MD in General Medicine / Internal Medicine (Mandatory)
Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration
3–5 years of experience in managing diabetes and general medical conditions
Fellowship/Certification in Diabetology will be an added advantage
Job Summary The Diabetologist / Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care with a focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of diabetes and associated lifestyle disorders. The role also involves managing general medical patients, promoting preventive healthcare, and ensuring evidence-based clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other lifestyle-related diseases.
Conduct outpatient consultations and inpatient medical management as required.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Educate patients on disease management, nutrition, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
Coordinate with dietitians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care.
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and NABH standards.
Participate in health awareness programs, CMEs, and community outreach initiatives.
Provide emergency medical care and support when required.
