Who are we looking for:
We are currently seeking passionate educators to join our team as a dedicated PYP German Facilitator, working with children aged 5 to 10, as part of our continued growth and development efforts. Hiring for the Academic Year , the ideal candidate must be organised and capable of fostering innovative and engaging learning experiences within available resources. Creating a holistic, inquiry-based environment, the candidate will instil thoughtful and ethical behaviour, ensuring the IB Learner profile values guide the heart of learning in our school.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and facilitate learning engagements to meet the learning needs of all learners in the class.
Facilitate transdisciplinary learning engagements in class.
Curate resources for the subjects that challenge students' learning needs.
Collaborate closely with the entire team to ensure the effectiveness of the programme requirements.
Use digital integration/learning technology and innovation to support and enhance student learning.
Use a variety of assessment strategies and tools to help students gather conceptual understanding that they can connect and extend beyond the classroom.
Communicate with the concerned stakeholders professionally and on time.
Ensure that all assessments, recording of student work and other evidence are kept up to date and according to IB requirements.
Maintain a commitment to professional ethics, international mindedness, and the school’s mission and core values, and take responsibility for professional learning that results in the enhancement of student learning.
Participate in all professional development workshops, events, competitions, and workshops organized by the school and implement necessary strategies to improve student learning.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Teachers with a minimum of 1 year of German teaching experience will be preferred.
Native or near-native proficiency in the German language, with a minimum of C1 level, is required.
Adept at handling technology to create worksheets and assessments in German.
Proficient in using education management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in German and English.
Additional Information:
The job location is in Chetpet, Chennai. This is an on-site and full-time position.
School timings are from 7.30 am to 3.00 pm.
A laptop will be provided for school use only.
