Teaching Faculty - Performing Arts; Music

Position: Teaching Faculty - Performing Arts (Music)
Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven performing arts lessons aligned with the IB PYP and MYP frameworks.
Integrate the elements of creating, performing, and responding into lessons that promote student agency and reflection.
Encourage self-expression, collaboration, and creativity through individual and ensemble-based experiences.
Connect performing arts learning to real-world contexts, transdisciplinary themes, and global cultural perspectives.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs, talents, and interests.
Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments aligned with IB assessment criteria.
Collaborate with homeroom and subject teachers to integrate performing arts into transdisciplinary or interdisciplinary units.
Plan and coordinate school performances, exhibitions, and showcases that celebrate artistic expression.
Maintain an organized and safe learning environment with respect for instruments, materials, and equipment.
Engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice to enhance pedagogy and curriculum alignment with IB standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Music
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Music in an IB or international school environment.
Demonstrated ability to design creative, concept-driven, and collaborative learning experiences.
Experience in leading student performances, assemblies, or creative showcases.
Proficiency with digital tools for music, choreography, or theatre production is an advantage.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
