About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students through the process of studying abroad. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an understanding of international education systems, and the ability to provide personalized counseling to students aspiring to pursue overseas education.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students on study abroad opportunities across countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
Understand students’ academic background, career goals, and preferences to recommend suitable programs and institutions.
Assist students throughout the application, admission, and visa process.
Coordinate with universities and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.
Maintain updated knowledge of university programs, entry requirements, and visa regulations.
Follow up with leads through calls, emails, and counselling sessions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly student enrollment targets.
Participate in promotional activities, student orientations, and education fairs when required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Management, or related fields preferred).
6 months to 4 years of experience in overseas education counselling / student recruitment/education consultancy.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong customer service orientation and sales skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools, email communication).
