Appointment of Principal – IS  Engineering College

Applications are invited from eligible and distinguished academicians for the post of Principal of IS  Engineering College, Electronics City, Bangalore, to be affiliated with a recognized University.

Role
The Principal shall be responsible for academic leadership, governance, and statutory compliance in accordance with AICTE Regulations, UGC norms, and the affiliating University statutes.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
1. Ph.D. in Engineering / Technology or relevant discipline.
2. First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Engineering / Technology.
3. Minimum 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in higher education.
4. At least 10 years of experience in a senior academic leadership position such as Principal / Director / Dean / Vice-Principal / Professor with administrative responsibilities.
5. Experience must be in a recognized and AICTE-approved Engineering Institution /University.
6. Must have an entrepreneurial background or experience in working & handling self-funded engineering college

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with AICTE, UGC, affiliating University, and State Government regulations
Lead academic planning, faculty recruitment, and institutional development
Oversee accreditation processes (NBA / NAAC) and quality assurance systems
Promote research, innovation, and industry collaboration within the AICTE frameworks
Represent the institution before AICTE, the University, and other statutory bodies
