- Manage end-to-end learning and development initiatives for the plant, including technical and functional training programs.
- Identify factory learning needs through training needs analysis, performance reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
- Design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs (classroom, on-the-job, e-learning, and blended approaches).
- Administer and manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including tracking, reporting, and analytics.
- Collaborate with factory leadership to align learning initiatives with operational goals and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory training requirements.
- Drive skill development initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and workforce capability.
Global Responsibilities (50%):
- Act as a Global Learning Architect, contributing to the design and implementation of enterprise-wide learning programs.
- Collaborate with global L&D teams to develop standardized learning frameworks, technical curricula, and competency models.
- Share best practices, lessons learned, and factory-level insights to influence global learning strategy.
- Support digital learning initiatives, including LMS upgrades, e-learning content development, and deployment.
- Monitor global learning trends and technologies to ensure plant training programs are innovative and future-ready.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HR, or related field;
Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in factory operations and hands-on learning & development, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in end-to-end learning management, including needs assessment, program design, delivery, and evaluation.
- Strong understanding of factory processes, technical operations, and operational challenges.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence at both plant and global levels.
