Role Description The Aptitude - Subject Matter Expert is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The role involves designing and developing high-quality aptitude content, including questions, solutions, and explanations for topics such as quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability. The expert will conduct thorough research to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current competitive exam and assessment standards.
Daily work includes creating lesson plans, practice materials, mock tests, and assessments, as well as reviewing and updating existing content for clarity and effectiveness. The role may also include collaborating with instructional designers, trainers, and product teams, delivering classroom or workshop sessions when required, and providing feedback to improve course structure and learner outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability, with the ability to break down complex concepts into simple, teachable components.
Experience creating structured learning materials such as practice questions, test papers, detailed solutions, and explanations for aptitude-related topics.
Proficiency in curriculum design, assessment design, and pedagogical best practices for test preparation and skills-based learning.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with attention to clarity, grammar, and learner-friendly language.
Comfort with using digital tools and learning platforms for content creation, delivery, and performance tracking.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Management, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in test preparation or education are an advantage.
Prior experience as an aptitude trainer, content developer, or subject matter expert for competitive exams or campus recruitment is highly preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage deadlines effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional academic and product teams.
