Role Description The Business Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in San Francisco, CA, responsible for driving overall business growth, profitability, and strategic direction for the agency’s operations. This role involves defining and executing business plans, setting revenue targets, and overseeing P&L to ensure sustainable growth. The Business Head will lead and mentor cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, and delivery), foster a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment with the company’s mission and client commitments.
Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, guiding solution proposals, and ensuring successful delivery of digital marketing and web development projects. The role also includes monitoring market trends and competitors, optimizing internal processes, reporting performance to leadership, and ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in digital marketing, advertising, consulting, or technology services, with responsibility for business growth, strategy, and P&L management.
Strong commercial acumen, including skills in business development, account management, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
Experience overseeing delivery of digital marketing services (e.g., SEO, performance marketing, social media, web development) and ensuring high-quality client outcomes.
Ability to build, lead, and motivate cross-functional teams, drive accountability, and create a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present strategies and performance insights to senior leaders and clients.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience working with clients across sectors such as education, real estate, healthcare, retail, or consumer brands is an advantage.
