About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Career Counselor to guide school students (Grades 9–12) in making informed academic and career decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong counseling skills, expertise in psychometric assessments, and the ability to create personalized career development plans that align with students' interests, strengths, and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
Career counseling and guidance
Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions for students from Grades 9–12.
Help students identify suitable career pathways based on their interests, aptitude, personality, and future goals.
Guide students and parents on subject selection, higher education options, and career opportunities.
Administer and interpret psychometric assessments and career profiling tools.
Analyze assessment results and provide detailed insights to students and parents.
Translate assessment outcomes into actionable career recommendations.
Develop comprehensive and customized career roadmaps for each student.
Recommend academic pathways, skill development plans, extracurricular activities, and future education options aligned with career goals.
Maintain accurate counseling records and progress documentation.
Conduct counseling discussions with parents whenever required.
Collaborate with schools and internal teams to ensure a seamless student guidance experience.
Represent the organization during school events, seminars, workshops, webinars, career fairs, and other external engagements as required.
Prepare counseling reports, assessment summaries, and student progress updates.
Ensure timely completion of assigned counseling targets and documentation requirements.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of career development theories and counseling methodologies.
Expertise in psychometric assessments and interpretation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and school stakeholders.
Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and digital counseling platforms.
Eligibility:
M.Sc. in Psychology (Mandatory).
5–7 years of experience in career counseling, student counseling, educational guidance, or related domains. (Minimum 4 years)
Experience working with school students (Grades 9–12) is highly preferred.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.
