Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Assistant Professor to join our MBA Aviation and Airport Management program. The ideal candidate will hold a Doctorate in Management Studies and have a passion for teaching, research, and industry engagement. The faculty member will contribute to academic excellence by delivering specialized courses related to aviation management, airport operations, and business strategy within the aviation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures and lead classroom discussions in core and elective subjects including Airport Operations, Aviation Safety Management, Airline Economics, Aviation Marketing, Strategic Management, etc.
• Design course materials, case studies, and assessments aligned with current industry trends and academic standards.
• Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and industry internships.
• Publish research papers in reputed journals and participate in academic conferences.
• Engage in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and maintain strong linkages with the aviation industry for guest lectures, internships, placements, and collaborative research.
• Participate in departmental activities, committees, and accreditation processes.
• Mentor students for academic and career growth.
Qualifications:
• Essential:
Ph.D. / Doctorate in Management Studies from a recognized institution.
• Desirable:
Specialization or relevant experience in Aviation, Airport, or Airline Management.
• Strong academic background and teaching aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience:
• Prior teaching experience in management or aviation programs preferred.
• Industry experience in aviation or airport operations will be an added advantage.
