Position Value Proposition:

The construction modeler is responsible for producing high-quality 3D models that serve as the backbone of structural steel detailing and coordination. Accountable for the quality of model preparation, this role ensures that all work meets project standards and specifications. The construction modeler collaborates closely with peers, Technical Leads, and project managers, maintaining a consistent workflow and actively contributing to team success.

Key responsibilities include timely completion of assigned modeling tasks, raising RFIs, tracking progress, and peer review. The role demands eagerness to learn technical skills, identify and escalate design issues or suggest intelligent, optimized modeling approaches, whilst adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP) for consistency and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, high-quality models using Tekla Structures and collaborate with other platforms like Revit for coordination.

• Ensure all modeling work is aligned with project requirements, quality standards, and SOPs.

• Complete assigned tasks on time, with appropriate tracking and reporting.

• Create and submit RFIs for unclear or conflicting design data.

• Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback, support learning within the team.

• Maintain clear documentation and version control for model files and issue logs.

• Proactively escalate design issues and suggest smart, constructible modeling solutions.

• Convert models to IFC formats for coordination and communication with stakeholders.

• Participate in team discussions, process improvements, and ongoing technical training

Work Experience

• Experience working/modelling in Large and Complex Projects with 3+ years’ experience in Structural Steel Detailing is preferred
