Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Coding Analyst at our Chennai location. The Medical Coding Analyst will accurately assign medical codes from patient records using established coding systems, including ICD and CPT standards. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing patient documentation, maintaining compliance with healthcare coding regulations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support accurate and efficient billing practices.

Additionally, the candidate will also need to stay updated on coding practices and industry advancements.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Medical Coding and Medical Terminology
- Coding experience and knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Strong background in Health Information Management and RHIT certification
- Thorough understanding of Medical Terminologies, Anatomy, and Pathology
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a team
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Health Information Management or a related field
- Prior experience or familiarity in healthcare BPOs is an added advantage
