We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer / Front-End Developer to design and build visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern web technologies, a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually engaging and responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate wireframes and concepts into functional web layouts.

• Create, edit, and optimise images and graphics using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools.

• Ensure websites load quickly by optimising assets, code, and overall performance.

• Implement SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility and rankings.

• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility with responsive web design techniques.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve UI, layout, and styling issues.

• Maintain brand consistency and design standards across all web projects.

• Work with modern UI/UX design tools such as Figma or equivalent platforms.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar image-editing software.

• Familiarity with Figma or other modern UI/UX design tools.

• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

• Basic knowledge of SEO, performance optimisation, and accessibility best practices.

• Good eye for design, typography, colour, and layout.

• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with CMS platforms such as Word Press or similar.

• Basic understanding of version control systems (Git).

• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and user-centered design.
