Role Overview

The Spend Governance Senior Analyst will support the development, maintenance, and delivery of spend-governance frameworks, advanced analytics dashboards, and executive-level reporting for BNP Paribas’ global business units. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and senior leadership engagement—turning complex spend data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Spend Reporting

- Gather and validate spend data from multiple sources against governance standards
- Prepare and maintain enterprise-wide spend reports and utilization forecasts
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting data

Advanced Analytics & Insights

- Build and maintain Power BI (or equivalent) dashboards
- Perform trend analysis and craft insights for senior leadership
- Translate analytics into actionable recommendations

Executive & Board Reporting

- Consolidate data from multiple stakeholders and systems
- Create executive-ready narratives and structured insights for leadership and board reviews

Industrialisation & Automation

- Support automation and industrialisation of reporting platforms
- Collaborate with global stakeholders on systems, data sources, SOPs, and process flows
- Contribute to process improvements and continuous optimization

Governance & Committee Orchestration

- Partner with TPRM, IT Security, and other functions to ensure governance adherence
- Track committee actions, decisions, and follow-ups end-to-end

Global Stakeholder Engagement

- Work effectively with global teams across geographies
- Support responsive executive reporting and on-demand management insights

Skills & Competencies

Technical & Professional

- 6+ years in reporting, analytics, and governance

- Experience with reporting platforms and industrialisation initiatives (preferred)
- Strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills
- Experience creating executive presentations and management insights
