Position Overview (Job Summary):
The DEX Tool Specialist/Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Aternity platform to improve end-user digital experience. The role involves proactive monitoring, analytics-driven insights, automation for remediation, and close collaboration with ITSM and support teams to drive operational efficiency and compliance.
Primary
Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Aternity DEX platform
- Experience with similar DEX tools:
Nexthink, Systrack
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Automation and scripting using Power Shell, Python
- Understanding of ITIL processes and compliance standards
- Proficiency in creating dashboards, reports, and performance analytics
Secondary
Skills:
- Knowledge of device/application performance analytics
- Cross-team collaboration (ITSM, Service Desk, Infra)
- Strong documentation and communication
- Workflow development for incidents and problem management
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools
Experience:
- Proven experience administering Aternity or similar DEX platforms
- Experience developing automated remediation workflows
- Hands-on scripting for compliance and system health
- Exposure to ITSM tools and ITIL practices
- Experience analyzing user experience data and recommending improvements
Role and Responsibilities:
A.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and manage Aternity agents and dashboards
- Build proactive incident and problem management workflows using DEX data
- Implement automation scripts for system remediation and compliance
- Collaborate with ITSM teams for integration and reporting
- Analyze device and app performance; provide optimization recommendations
- Ensure continuous monitoring of digital employee experience and system health
B. Additional Responsibilities
- Document platform configurations, workflows, and procedures
- Assist in platform upgrades, patching, and performance improvements
- Support service improvement initiatives using Aternity insights
- Train L1/L2 support teams on Aternity dashboards and analytics
Educational
Qualification:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certifications:
Preferred:
- Aternity platform certification
- Nexthink platform certification
- ITIL Foundation certification
